At The Towne Care, the aroma of freshly brewed coffee fills the air at 6:30 a.m., accompanied by the gentle melodies of birdsong, signaling the start of a new day. Unlike traditional alarms or fixed waking hours, we believe in providing our residents the freedom to rise at their own pace. Our considerate care staff moves through the hallways and enters rooms with hushed voices, respecting the desire of those who wish to savor an extra hour of slumber.
Meals as a Family
Birthday Traditions
We ensure to engage in thoughtful conversations with family members about how their loved ones have celebrated birthdays in the past, and we take pride in honoring any cherished traditions that serve as a reminder of their special day. Whether it involves baking a delightful birthday cake, arranging beautiful centerpieces, or joyfully singing "Happy Birthday," our residents actively participate in the festivities, showcasing their individual skills and talents.
Residents Gather for Lunch
Residents are welcome to convene at the dining tables by 11:15, joining their fellow community members to savor not only a delectable meal but also the delightful camaraderie.
Social Activities
Each day at The Towne Care, residents are presented with a delightful array of new and familiar activities to indulge in. Within the cozy confines of the living room, every table is adorned with sheets of paper listing all the exciting events taking place that day. From crafting exquisite flower arrangements for lunch centerpieces, to leisurely strolls in the picturesque backyard, or simply enjoying the comfort of their own rooms, the residents have complete freedom to choose their preferred pastime.
Reading Together
The ability to read is the final learning skill that diminishes over time, and our goal is to ensure that our residents maintain this skill for as long as they can. The books available at The Towne Care have been thoughtfully selected and tailored to cater to the preferences of our residents.
Hair Salon
The salon and barbershop located on-site is a beloved destination for numerous residents. Our skilled stylists take the time to carefully examine photographs of each individual, ensuring that they provide a haircut that suits their unique style and preferences.

Residents have the opportunity to select from a diverse range of activities that are deeply rooted in their own personal passions and interests. Our intergenerational programs foster a sense of joy as residents have the chance to impart their knowledge and skills to children, enlightening them about the various aspects of their community, such as cultivating vegetables in the garden.
